The multiverse is a theory in which our universe is not the only one, but states that many universes exist parallel to each other. These distinct universes within the multiverse theory are called parallel universes. A variety of different theories lend themselves to a multiverse viewpoint.
Not all physicist really believe that these universes exist. But I am not a physicist, which allows me to dream of things without giving an empirical explanation for it.
This theory of parallel Universe is facinating, and keeps me wondering and questioning, what if so was not so? what if that thing there was not there? what if this was that ? Well, What if the universe was Black and White ?
What if our eyes could see only two colors? what if we never knew if other colors even existed. what if the rods and cones in our eyes could process only black and white?.
The Rainbow and the sky would have shades in two tones, and still would be appreciated for the pattern it exhibited, not knowing that if seen in VIBGYOR or blue, how beautiful would it look ! The world would be viewed with a perception of a chess board. Issues like racism would be put into shade or subside, since the world would have whites, blacks and greys. People would be less concerned about beauty and cosmetics.
Things could go haywire while solving a Rubik's cube which now has shades of grey ! or girls would have to survive without Pink ! A lot of proverbs would need to change like "The grass is grayer on the other side " .The beautiful snow would seem no different from the rest . Well, the moon shall be the only thing as appealing as it is now.
While I sit and imagine of the black and white world, I realize how gifted I am and how gifted we all are to be able to see different colors. In black and white world the real world would only be a figment of our imagination, but now as we live in one, we must know how lucky we are. We live in a world where greed always surpasses need. Human beings have been insufferably arrogant to think nature was made solely for their benefit.
Man has lost the capacity to foresee.
Man must feel the earth to know himself and recognize his values or a day will come when the world we live in might as well turn into a multiverse.
