Blogger to a Site

Basic idea comes to our mind when we hear about a blog is 'collection of posts'. So many of us are having our own blogs. Few might not be knowing about the creation of a blog. But let us've a look at a the procedure of creating a simple blog using blogger and to a website.

1. Lets choose a site which provides free rights to create a blog under their own domain name.
Here i've mentioned few names of such sites.
    www.blogger.com
    www.wordpress.com
    www.tumblr.com

2. Create your account in any of the above mentioned sites.
I would like to continue the further discussion of creating a blog in blogger.com.
You can choose any of the sites, but procedure will remain almost similar.

3. So here you create your blog. ex: www.blogname.blogspot.com

4. Now create your posts and pages as you wish to put in your blog.
( Difference between post and a page:
Posts in any blog will be handled and categorized automaticaly.
Pages have to be manually handled. )

5. In blogger you can use any of the templates which are built by them.
For better templates i recommend: www.btemplates.com

6. Usage of these templates in blogger is legal, if and only if you do not modify any contents of the footer
mentioned in the xml page of the template.
( to use external templates, goto  templates --> Backup/restore --> choose xml file  --> Upload. )

7. Modify the layout and template such that it looks like an awesome site.
( editing template: templates --> Edit HTML --> Proceed )

8. Convert the your site name from www.blogname.blogspot.com to www.blogname.co.cc
Visit co.cc and create an account for your site with same blog name. ( co.cc provides free domain )
    Ex: www.blogname.co.cc

9. Then you have to setup your domain.
    Goto setup-->Manage domain.
    Choose Zone Records
Host = your domain name (www.blogname.co.cc)
    Type = CNAME
    Value = ghs.google.com
    Then click Setup Button.

10.  In blogger goto Setting --> Publishing
Then choose Switch to: Custom Domain
Then click on Already own a domain? Switch to advanced settings

Type your new domain in the www.blogname.co.cc
      Click Save Setting Button.

11. It will take only few hours to build www.blogname.co.cc

Introduction to Soccer

The game of soccer is played by two teams. For most games, each team has 11 players on the field. The objective of the game is to put the ball in the opponent's net. The winning team is the team with the highest number of goals. Soccer is traditionally played on a rectangular field. A typical size of the field would be 100 metres in length and 75 metres wide. The field size may decrease with the play of a younger age level. The playing surface is well-maintained, short grass. But due to weather conditions, some people play on a gravel surface. The field is divided into two by a center line. At each end of the field are two goals (2.44m tall and 7.32m wide). Surrounding each goal is a square 5.5m box (the 6 yard box) and a 16.47m box (the 18 yard box). At each corner of the field is a corner flag which is a minimum of 2m tall.

The game is controlled by a head referee. The referee enforces the laws, keeps the playing time, and keeps the flow of the game moving. The game duration is two halves of 45 minutes each. The referee has two assistants who run up and down the touchlines. The linesman is a referee's second eye to the play and is the key official in determining offside, when the ball has left the field of play, and controlling substitutions.

The ball can be played with every part of the body except the arms. The only person who can handle the ball when it is in play with his hands is the goalkeeper. He may only do so when the ball is inside the 18 yard box. The only other time a person can handle the ball is during a throw-in. A throw-in takes place when the play has stopped due to the ball being kicked across one of the touchlines. The player has to throw the ball from behind his head in a forward motion while keeping his feet planted on the ground.

Play of the game is stopped only by the referee in certain situations. To signify a stoppage in play the referee will blow his whistle. Play is stopped if the ball crosses over any outside line of the field including the line inside the goal net. For the ball to be out of play, it must COMPLETELY cross over one of the touchlines or goal-lines. Another stoppage of play is if any player causes a foul or misconduct. The game stops at the end of each half. Playing time may be extended at the referee's discretion if there was an injury during the half.

Standard dress code and equipment for the game of soccer is basic. Every player must wear a jersey, shorts, socks, shinguards, and cleats. The team as a whole must have matching jerseys, shirts, and socks. The exception is the goalie who has to wear a different color jersey than the rest of the team. Shinguards are mandatory. Soccer cleats are specially designed for the soccer field. They give you superior traction and control to that of the performance you would receive with a normal running shoe. There are a variety of types of cleats for the varied weather conditions you may play in. No jewelry, watches, earrings, etc. are allowed to be worn during the game.

From where it all started

I have been a massive fan of the beautiful game ever since i was 6 years old. I have been supporting this team Manchester United ever since i remember. United? Why? Well the reason for me supporting united goes back to that auspicious day when my dad decided to watch a united game which was being aired on ESPN.

My dad a part time football fan used to watch these games they aired on TV during the weekends. He didn't support any team in particular and was only interested in games that had lots of goals in them and united were renowned all over for their style of play and the amount of goals they scored in each game. Well the game was between united and a team called Charlton Athletic which are currently playing in League One in the third-tier of English football. Well they were pretty good at that time and i heard my dad saying "this will be a game with lots of goals in it". Since there was only one TV in the house and since i had already completed my homework i decided to watch the game in the hope that he will soon get bored and hand over the remote control.

Well the game started and united were playing away. Both the teams wore these cool jerseys and i was already impressed. Initially the match was pretty even, then there was some sheer brilliance from the united players and a baby faced boy who had a weird name opened the scoring for united. In time i came to know that this boy was called Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. It was hard to even remember these names forget spelling them. In a matter of minutes United were up 3-0 and the game ended 5-0 to United. Apart from the brilliant goals United totally dominated the game and i was mesmerized by this new team who were so good. I didn't watch any other sport apart from Cricket and only supported the Indian Cricket team, but this team had certainly made a mark in my heart.

"Manchester united" the name was on everybody's lips, it had a fan following all over the world, they played excellent football and their trophy cabinet was one to envy for. The moment i heard the name i knew that me and Manchester United were bound to be together till death.

Its been 15 years since that fateful day and here i am at home watching the next united game. The players have changed, the staff has changed, the baby faced boy, my favourite player is long gone. The manager is still the same although in premier league this is still a rarity with some teams changing their managers every season. Legends have been born, trophies won, players bought and sold, even the kits and the sponsors have changed. But the one thing that has never and will never change is my love and respect towards this great football club.

The Burning Desire

I fell in love with her at the very first sight. It felt like heaven when I saw her .I spent all my time thinking about her. I was losing control. I have no words to express the depth of my true love for her.

She was sexy, slim and stylish. She had a perfect figure. She was very unique. Her beauty was unmatchable. I always dreamt of being with her. Whenever I saw her in the college she remained silent. Someday she would come in black; someday she would come in white. I knew everything about her.

But one day, she told me indirectly on my face-“Don’t follow me. I can’t be yours. You can’t afford me. Please forget me”.  It started raining and thundering. I wept and my tears went wasted in the holy rain. It was the darkest day of my life. I went into depression. The bitter words gave me sleepless nights. Friends told me “forget her. She is not your cup of coffee”. I thought “what a bunch of useless friends I had”.
She would be in the college library, college canteen, college lift, college bus, anywhere and everywhere. I tried to ignore her but her magnetic personality was such that I couldn’t resist myself from looking at her. I checked her from the corner of my eye.
There was a serious fight between the RED Devil and the  WHITE Angel in me.I had a perception of them popping up on my shoulders and staring right at me. The Angel said-“Be a gentle man, ignore her, concentrate on your studies”. The Devil said-“It’s not the time to study, follow her, she is yours”. It started troubling me. I cried. “stop itttttttttttttt” i said with a loud cry, like a 1970’s Bollywood hero. The imaginary persons vanished in air with a puff.
My colorful life turned to a mixture of sepia and grey scale. I fell on my knees. My knees were hurting even though I had faked the fall. Seeing the muddy white pants I stood up immediately, as I had to wash clothes at home and  detergents these days have become too costly. I thought “what a loser I was-I can’t even buy a 100gm detergent”.
Days passed and depression took over me. I cut off human contacts, stopped studying, forgot smiling and begged for more pain in life.I chose the wrong path to get away from the painful truth. I went to bars and started drinking bottles of black drink “coca cola” like a 1970’s depressed Bollywood hero who drank bottles of alcohol. As I was drinking, the waiter laughed at me.
I became weak and weary. I lost 5 kgs in 5 days. I thought some deadly disease had struck me. I went to a doctor. After check up, the doctor looked at my X-ray report with raised eyebrows. I was about to ask him whether I am going to die? How many days do I have, but I kept quiet? I asked him “any problem doctor”. Doctor replied sadly “LIVER”. Most probably I had become deaf too. I said “Ok… ‘Leave her’ that’s a best medicine”. As I was about to leave I pulled a 100 buck bill and kept it on his table. Doctor said “sorry, its 200”.I showed him my empty wallet with an innocent smile.
The doctor, pointing his fingers at me, started giving a lecture. I had to bare him for the next 10 minutes. He said “you are the useless youth. You can spend money on smoking, drinking, accessories, but not on these things. Do you think this is some government hospital? Get out ’’. I was afraid to make an eye contact with him. I left his clinic silently.
I badly needed a hair cut and a shave. If I was a Salman khan fan I would have wore a t-shirt with the “being ape” slogan. My friends said “Stay away from us. You stink”. I thought “what a bunch of useless friends I had”.
I went for the hair cut on my friend’s advice. The barber who had known me from the past 10 years did not recognize me. I wished him “Hi” and there was no response. He seemed to be busy with his work. As I sat, I looked at the mirror and felt pity on the person in the mirror. Finally, after the hair cut, when I was combing my hair,my barber friend recognized me. We hugged each other for the next 30 Seconds. I desperately needed a hug and therefore I hugged him tightly. People around us felt uncomfortable and thought we were homosexuals. Even he felt a little uncomfortable and we parted. He tapped my shoulders and said “look at you. You have changed”.”YES... I am a bit pissed off” I said putting more weight on the word “YES”.
I preferred a life of solitude.I hardly spoke to my parents.I was a stranger at home.Everything changed in my life. I walked bare footed, I wore rugged clothes, visited boring places, ate tasteless foods, forgot my face book password,  watched black and white movies, In fact went to the extent of watching emotional daily soaps on star plus .
I walked through the streets singing “I walk the lonely road, lonely road...”. My friends said “Please don’t sing. You have a bad voice”. I thought “what a bunch of useless friends I had”.
I started asking questions to myself-“What am I? A psycho!! Am I a loser? Am I born under wrong stars? Am I irresponsible? Am I poor? Is she from a royal family”? I was searching for an answer from within. Throughout my course I was able to answer the most difficult questions on this earth. But these were unanswerable.
Suddenly a bright star appeared in front of me. I covered my eyes. The bright star spoke in Amitabh Bachans voice “look my boy, good things happen to those ......pause....., good things happen to those who work hard, good things happen to those who are honest, good things happen to those who submit assignments on time. Today is the last date to submit your assignment, if you don’t submit you will lose your 5 marks”
The alarm started ringing. My brother switched on the bright 25 watts bulb in my room. I heard a soothing voice “wake up son, its 6.30, get ready for the college, you will miss the bus”
When I woke up, I saw there were 2 unread messages in my Nokia 2690 cell phone. It was my friend’s message asking whether I completed the assignment or not. I couldn’t reply as I was left with zero balance. My brother noticed it and said “throw your mobile”.
I replied “Ok... switch off the Amitabh bachan lights and get lost”. ”are you fine??” he asked, sounding very confused.
I brushed my teeth, had a hot water bath, had my breakfast, did my hair, sprayed the axe-effect all over my clothes and hurried to college.

2012 Mega Project

This post is about my final year project. It’s nothing “technical”.

We call ourselves “The A team”. Our project title is "vadf".Dont be stunned by reading the title. It’s been 7 weeks and I myself couldn’t figure out why the project title is so. I am digging very hard on it. Hopefully I will get it by the end of semester.
It was a group of 4 students.2 of them worked hard and other 2 hardly worked. We had everything in our project-a funky name, a secret face book group and off course a fantastic team.
In face book group we discussed all big stuffs existing in this small universe and nothing about project. We had a highly motivating image for our group. The group was called Project X because X was unknown. We had also applied for sponsorships. We are still waiting for their approval.

There was equal contribution by everyone.
-They called me a 'programming champ'. But my friends thought i was a Google champ. There is nothing more painful when people say "it’s not your own, it’s a Google product”. I used to curse Google more than cursing friends. I never took it seriously and always ignored them.Ignore the critics as they say.
-Our 2nd project member did everything except project.24 hours was not enough for him. His Google skills were amazing. He uses Google for all sorts of things. He can live without water but not without google. He downloaded all the hidden project related files available in internet. Sadly, none of them seemed to be useful so far.The project name was his contribution. It was he who started a secret group in facebook which we rarely visit.
-Our 3rd project member was a busy and a tired guy. He has mixed emotions. He was rajnikanth in programming. Students from other branches came for his help. He has great contacts. During project hours, he was physically present but mentally absent. Occasionally he visited our workplace and asked “hey guys what’s up... Any progress" and we always said "no”. He just wanted to show us that he was also a part of project.
-Our 4 th project member is a studious guy. He is a angry young man who never played angry birds. He is a perfect role model for all the students out there. He led the group like a real leader and we only didn’t salute him.I will not say anything much about him because he will kick me out of the group if i "praise" him.

It was not a difficult decision in choosing our group leader. It was during my childhood days i heard my teachers telling "rank 1 becomes the leader of the class”. There were three 8 pointers and one 9 pointer in our group. I am not a 9 pointer. So it was decided that 9 pointer will be the leader of the group. But now, we regret for it. Our 9 pointer makes us work a lot. I feel I work for him and not for the sake of completing the project.Neverthless; he was a driving force in our project.

We discussed about our project with most of the lecturers in our branch. Few lecturers said it’s a mega project and few said it’s a impossible project. But we were sachin tendulkars fan and always believed in "nothing is impossible” and moreover we were “The A team”..,,there is no plan B.We were determined to complete the project at any cost.., at any cost. Our first project evaluation went very smoothly and we were successful in impressing the panel. We got a lot of ideas from the lecturers.

We were very friendly with our project guide. He was an inspiration for us. It’s because of our lecturers constant guidance and support, we are able to achieve marvels.
One fine day we did something that no students had done before. It was a milestone. We got accolades from all the lecturers. There was a ray of hope. I told my friends "every cloud has a silver lining" and they said "OK bro., fine... We will see it at night".

Currently,We have stopped working on the project as our 1st internals is in the coming week.
I wish everyone to come out with flying colours!!!!!!

      ----------------AFTER THREE HECTIC MONTHS------------------

22/05/2012 : the judgement day

"Hard work never goes in vain"

I am overwhelmed to say that we won the best project of

the year award. It was a happy ending. We never expected a

prize because there were many other good projects. All the

credit goes to one of our group member,gk who did a

 exceptional presentation.

Everyone got reasonable marks as well. But our  project

leader got more marks than us and that was hurting (anyways

he deserved it). Thanks to spm for all the cheap book

bindings he did.He saved our money. Finally ..,,great work by

sk and i wont praise much about myself.

The project evaluation didnt go very well eventhough we were

the best project winners.Everyone seemed to be satisfied

 with their marks.

We also got a chance to  display our project in SRISHTI,a

state level project exhibition event held in Sahyadri

college,Mangalore. Our stay in the college for two days was

tiring band filled with fun.We couldnt win a prize though..

(Participation is more important than winning the prize )..

I wish all my project mates to have a successful life ahead..

Adventurous mornings

Every night before hitting the bed, for once I wonder, how my next morning is going to be. How many times am I going to slip, trip and fall today and how many neighbors are going to stare at me as I run? Will my feet have shoes or flip-flops ?

Time gets cruel in the morning. Every morning I open my eyes to realize that I have some responsibilities and I have to keep up to them. My fingers fumble to find my cell phone. My eyes try to force some vision onto the brightly lit phone to check the time. I find me warm, wrapped completely in my blanket. Keeping my cell phone aside, I give myself a due of few more minutes and start off with a new dream. My cell phone lays helpless as it watches me sleep past hours. In the Dream world I believe there is no such entity as time, a world where no credit is given for punctuality. Wow!

I like completing a movie once I start watching it. Even though you never realize if you are done dreaming, the same thing is applicable to dreams. Switching between two worlds is hard, especially when its coming back to reality from deep sleep and at this peak hour a small yawn can put you back to deep baby sleep.

The alarm starts ringing .It rings .it keeps ringing. It wakes my mom up and she, who doesn’t know to switch it off, wakes me up in turn. I switch it off or snooze it depending on how open my eyes are.

After this part, As I wake up  and freshen up, I sit on the table and spend some time with the cup of tea  kept ready for me. I stare at it as though I have feelings for it. As a matter of fact I find it very HOT! Spending nearly 15 minutes for breakfast leaves me with half an hour to get the college bus !!

Thirty minutes is all I get to shave, take a shower, dress up, wear a belt, do my hair, get socks, wear shoes and walk for 2 minutes. It also includes remembering to take my watch, cell phone , wallet and my hanky!

Shaving is like art. Its takes talent to trim your goatee and get it in shape.A hot water bath on a cold morning is always the best part of my morning. A heavenly feeling is what you get when steam gushes out and invades the air in your bathroom.

My bathroom is quite close to the bus stand, close enough for me to hear the honking of buses.
During my shower, I get three warning honks from three different busses.
If the first horn is heard, it alludes that I need to hurry up a bit.
If the second horn goes, I need to skip hair do.
The third horn is a RED ALERT sign which means I have to skip hair do, socks n shoes, grab my flip flops and RUN!!
My neighbors have the habit of reading newspapers and washing clothes in the morning.
A mocking smug is all I get when they see me run across the lane, gasping for breath with the belt hanging out my waist.

Once I reach the road, I get a feeling of completing a marathon!. Actually, the running keeps me active all day and gets me going.
I arrive at my waiting point and wonder if the bus has already left, because at this point of time each second counts.
It takes a bus 10 seconds to cover the section of that road. Even seconds of delay may account to my running behind the bus for about 4-5 meters, which is very difficult to cover after loosing breath in my lane marathon.

The consequences of boarding the bus after all this may be, ending up stepping on dog poop, dirtying pants with muddy feet, leg aching through out the day or even getting hit by a speeding vehicle.

Boarding the college bus has always been an adventure. All this, not because I have no other bus to go by, but only because there is no match for the fun we have in the college bus.

All this will be missed..

A Memorable Sports Day

Anything being last has been very special in life. This is my first post about my last sports day (hopefully : if i clear the last semester)..It was the day i didn’t participate in any of the sports events.

It was a very cold morning, 2nd Feb 2012.I wore a black t-shirt and blue jeans which was the branch dress code for the day. I caught the bus at 7.45am.I was a little shocked to see the dark red color of the bus which was yellow just yesterday. Changing the color of the bus was as simple as changing the cell phone panels. I took the window seat in the 4th row. Near the first 3 seats was written "ladies" with too much attention to detail in TIMES NEW ROMAN font. I had become an expert in differentiating between various font styles after clearing a subject called "seminar" in 7th semester, during which every student had to do font check, format check, spell check et al before submitting a seminar report successfully. But there were men who were either illiterate, ignorant or rather disorients and preferred the first 4 seats .
I wondered why was the conductor so time conscious. One of the conductor shouted "you are 60 seconds late" to which the driver replied sarcastically "oh i see! There was a huge traffic, not my fault ”. The conductor gave a angry bird look.
I started browsing in my Nokia 2690 mobile and thanks to TATA Docomo browsing had become much cheaper than messaging. As i was scrolling through my facebook account i saw there were many likes on my comments. By many i mean only 6, as my social network is not very widely spread yet with only 250 friends in my facebook account. Listening to romantic songs sitting near the window with my headphones on made me feel like the SRK of DDLJ but "Ticket Ticket Ticket" brought me back to reality. I always appreciated the conductors for their memory and complex mathematical problem solving abilities but curse them occasionally when i had to pay full ticket for not having the bus pass. Everyday he gives me a useless piece of paper. Its been 3 and half years trying to figure out whats actually written on the ticket. There is a large collection of colorful tickets in my bag which I wish was of use, like philately or numismatics but everyday they make me realize what a jobless fag I was. It was 8.02am when I reached the bypass and had to catch another bus to college. I took a bus at 8.04am to be precise.I have been traveling in this bus for the past 3 and half years and nothing has been changed in the yrs except the people traveling .
The bus was fully conquered and finding an inch of place was very difficult. I rushed inside and found a place for myself. It’s only during government holidays and Sundays do we get the honour of sitting.
I cant explain how embarrassing it is to see myself in various bharatnatyam positions when the bus travels with bullet speed and takes sharp turns. I could see 2 fools hanging down the footboard and one of them with long hair stood with support of his left hand and was giving a DDLJ SRK look. I bet he was humming “tujhe dekha to yeh….” but unfortunately was left with only aunties to impress.
I reached the college at 8.20am. As the bus stopped, dust flew all over the place making it look as though some magic bus from Hogwarts. Ahead of me was a tall building, the "Treasure of knowledge”. I am the robber here. In fact a good robber who never tries to steal anything.
Mens department as we call it, since toilet is a gross word is my first visit everyday. It’s the only place in college where we have the freedom to do all the weird stuffs. I stand in front of the relief machine, counting the number of chewing gums in it. Then i get pissed after reading the so called "Poor Jokes" inscribed on the poor wall.
When i entered the class i saw a happy couple sitting in the third row. I wished them "hi" and they ignored me and continued the chat. I kept my bag in the desk and moved out of the class. Our class is in the 5th floor and has a good view of our college campus. I study in one of the best university in this universe. Our college is known for its pleasant environment, cool weather, beautiful nature, good infrastructure, experienced lecturers, cultured and honest people and more importantly 100% placements. Let me tell you -i have job offers from two top IT companies-INFOSYS and HCL.

In fact INFOSYS has the record of recruiting a maximum number of people from our college. Thus here for most of them “Sabka Malik Ek” holds very true.

My friends came to the college at around 8.45am.There was a gang of good friends who regularly
bird watch, which helps them in hormonal balance and puts them in good mood before attending the classes. There are different varieties of birds in our college. Go, stand under a tree for a while and you will sense it. Some fly very high in the sky and its very difficult to see them. Some fly but nobody is interested. We then enter the class after all the birds fly away. Since it was sports day the classes were cancelled and we continued the bird watch extended. I noticed an energetic, enthusiastic group of students with their cool and attractive branch t- shirts (with hi fi slogans-supposedly involving a lot of ctrl-c, ctrl-v and wiki). They were all walking to the playground for the march-past. Half of the students in our class were absent. They stayed at home watching SPORTS channels, preparing for the sessionals, updating their facebook and twitter statuses, playing GAMES etc etc. With their activities put to halt, everyone moved to the ground at 9.00am.
Colourful flags were waving all over the ground. Most of the students were in black or white clothes. There was one group with an appealing appearance. They wore a white t shirt, white cap, white gloves, black jeans and green band on their hands. I gave them a Dance India Dance, Mithun Da grand salute.
We made a curved line instead of a straight line. I was covered by 2nd year and 3rd year students. Our branch captain was giving instructions which nobody understood but the juniors pretended to understand. Everyone shouted "yes sir" on his commands.
A SPORTS DAY kind of atmosphere was not created that day. Most of them were either busy in comparing and praising their branch t-shirts or getting ready for the photo session. Time has changed as people go for picnics and take snaps for the sole purpose of updating their facebook profile.
With only a few minutes left for the march-past I was all set to show-off my left-right-left-right skills. There were around 60 boys in our group. As we marched I saw 60 different left-right-left-right styles. Some marched like it was republic day parade. I could see my friends walking with a purpose, with chest up and stomach in, placing their foot in the 45 degrees position, swinging their arms parallel to each other. In the center of the ground there was a band set group of 10 high school students. They were all "wanna be engineers". I wished them good luck. We moved on and saluted the chief guest. The march past was over and it was the time to feel some heat. We stood under the hot sun for the next 15mins.

A VIEW

The prayer was going on as I wondered why boys never sang the prayer song. After the prayer I heard some “claps". I was surprised. I clapped for their claps. The Welcome speech continued. One of the student welcomed the Indian chief guest in his American accent. There was a round of applause for his American accent. When we stood there silently, listening to the welcome speech, i heard one of the final year girl saying "the best thing is that we wont be here for the next sports day". I became very emotional that moment.Tears started rolling from my eyes..,, but they were invisible. I was desperate to tell her how difficult it is to clear the 8th semester, forget next sports day.

Standing under the hot sun, I felt we were put in a hot oven and the 1Megahertz microwave signal started attacking us from all the sides. If you are a typical nerd you will be impatient to point out that a 1Megahertz microwave signal doesn't exist. Yes!! you are right. To add this we were in black clothes. As you know,a black surface is a good absorber of heat. It has some parameter associated with it whose value is equal to unity. Its very difficult to understand the technical reason behind it and all I remember was I was boiling within. It involves a lot of frequency, wavelength stuffs which were too beyond my head. My cell phone was vibrating. It was my project leader's message "where are you? when do we start the project ?" I replied "marching ! lets do it in march".

The chief guest spoke about the India-Australia agneepath series. I felt most of them in the ground were familiar with the word agneepath. People stopped watching cricket matches after Sachins batting form came down(I am a big fan of Sachin Tendulkar). There may be other reasons too for people loosing interest in cricket. He also explained how sports play an important role in our life. There was vote of thanks followed by principals speech. It was the time to announce the march past winners. My grand salute had paid off . The group with the white gloves won the first place. We were shocked and surprised to hear that we won the second place. A 3rd yr student standing in front of me said to his friend "we didn’t deserve it”, but I said to myself " I deserved it” at least for getting my skin burnt. I asked what’s the cash prize ?. He said 3000. As i was calculating keeping mind 200 people in the gang, which made it 3000/200. One of my friend shook my hands firmly, telling "Congratts! you just won Rs15". We dispersed as the Captain promised a chocolate !!

Everyone moved to the corner of the ground taking out their hidden cameras. I saw juniors with their i-pads have never touched in my life, Samsung galaxy cell phones,15 mega pixel cameras. I slowly took out my nokia 2690 which has a 1.2 mega pixel camera .I put it back thinking it was better to hide it.
